Role: Designer / Project Coordinator.

Signage & Wayfinding, 2016 – Present. Currently implementing the signage and wayfinding strategy program for all 25 stations/stops and the maintenance facility for the new LRT line in Toronto. This includes utilizing the principles outlined by the ECLRT Signage Standards Manual and the development of new necessary supplementary signage for the transit line to ensure safe operation that meets code requirements for the entire system. Acting as project coordinator leading a team of 6 designers and handling project management tasks. Coordinating with 25 different architectural teams. This challenging responsibility requires strong leadership and organizational skills. Also responsible for the project’s artwork production, data management, cost estimation, sample procurement, technical drawings creation of non-complex signs, coordinating complex drawings with a technical artist, shop drawings, and artwork review. Beyond sign placement, the program affects functional and spatial layouts of each station, considering architectural design throughout a system-wide approach. Currently in the 100% phase with a scheduled completion for 2021.
